Having read Lieutenant Colonel Webb's book not once, but twice, I can only hope that it is a work of fiction and not a prophecy of what is to come. Current estimates are that there are between 10-15,000 radical Muslims throughout the United States today. There is the general consensus that our southern border is broken; a sieve through which hundreds of "illegals" from many countries enter our country through the safety of the night each month. Webb's book raises the question as to how many military war games take place that include nuclear, biological or chemical attacks here. Quite a lot I would guess.As author Webb says in his summary on the back cover, the natural disaster in Yellowstone is indeed of Biblical proportions - an event that make Hurricane Katina and the ongoing disaster in the Gulf pale in comparison I agree with all the reviews posted so far. Certainly Rescuing America is a work of fiction but I can guarantee that any one reading this great book will identify with what is taking place today. How many of us have said, "Our politicians could care less about us. They are interested only in staying in power. They really do not care about our country!" With the exception of the female vice president, the real heroes in this book are individual Americans, of different backgrounds, different races, different religions, who reach deep within themselves for the strength of character to do what is right, not what is expedient. From making the ultimate sacrifice to banding together, Americans slowly do take their country back.Put all these things together and this is one gripping novel with potential to be a block buster movie. My advice is that you do not start this just before going to bed or you will not get much sleep. This is a book that you can not put down and one that will force you to think about our future. Can we save America?
