I listened to "No Looking Back" after hearing her latest 2013 offering, and before that "Those Foolish Things". This first album - a Chesky production at that - (and "Those Foolish Things") are more distinctive IMO than the 2013 offering. Quite a stellar backup here in the form of Jon Faddis, Joe Henderson, Romero Lubambo, Mark Sherman... The songs are standards but have an 'original feel' to them - and good swing. 4.5 stars. Very nice voice : could stretch out abit more in 2014! The recording quality is superb - very clear audio separation.
