I am an aging baby boomer and I love this band. If you have tried to imagine where psychedelic music would have gone had Jimi Hendrix lived, then you will want this particular album. Or, if Frank Zappa had lived to deepen his exploration of electronic music he may have gone in this direction.I have a couple of other Eat Static cds. They are mostly live recordings of dance/trance music. But 'Back to Earth' is a beautifully crafted studio cd that is intricate, layered and very stimulating to the ears and the mind. You'll listen to it a lot.I have not heard the entire Eat Static body of work, which is sizeable. Much of it is hard to come by in the U.S. and they have downloadable albums that are MP3 only, which I will not buy (I can hear the compression distortion).But if you want some fast, hard pumping music for your mind then you can do no better than this CD.
