Soulfly's one and only single, Back to the Primitive features the same song from Primitive (without the 28 second Berimbau intro), a remix of Terrorist, and a remix of Back to the Primitive as well as the Back to the Primitive video. I only got this because it was for sale for 3 bucks. The Terrorist Remix is almost unlistenable. The Back to the Primitive remix isn't as bad but its still crap. And the video? It's edited, features Max in pink/red dreads and a live Ozzfest concert, with the studio version playing over it. I loved Primitive back when I was in 8th grade, but since then I've discovered Sepultura (Max's old band for those who don't know by now), and it was far superior. Soulfly has the occasional good songs here and there, but when Max was in Sepultura, the entire albums were good from start to finish. Back to the Primitive was one of the best songs from Primitive, and it's honestly not that great, it gets old quickly. Roots was better than any Soulfly album, hands down. If you are looking here, you are interested in the remixes. Don't waste your time, they butcher the originals. If you want remixes, the ones from the era of the first album are better.
