The career of Gary Moore can easily be divided into two sections; balls-out shredder with a sleek 80's production sound or the late-night blues wailer. This, technically his second solo album to me is his best because you get some of the blues, some of the shred and even some of the fusion sound of his work with Colosseum II all within this disc. Furthermore, he gets a little help from past/future Thin Lizzy bandmates Phil Lynott and Brian Downey on "Parisienne Walkways" and "Don't Believe a Word" among others. The instrumentals "Flight of the Snow Moose" and "Hurricane" are strong examples of that aforementioned fusion sound he was veering away from at the time. All in all, this is so far the best collection of all of his skills as a player and it never gets boring. Check it out!
