Just bought this pad for my 17" wintec dressage saddle. I was a little nervous that it would be too small based on the other reviews. This fits my saddle Perfectly! I wanted something that would JUST fit without a lot of extra hanging out and there is definitely NO extra room. So, yes it definitely is on the small side for a pad. I would measure your saddle before ordering and if you know your saddle runs on the larger side it may not be the right pad for you. Made super well and did not move around while riding. I'm so excited to have found this! Would recommend!Beautifully constructed. Padding is really deep. However, this is made for a really small dressage saddle (<16 inch). Wish a larger one were available. This one is now on consignment.So far so good. I like the way the wither section is molded to stay put. It does not have Velcro straps that go over the billets though. It has small straps that attach on sides of pommel. I am curious to see how these hold up.Definitely well made. But my saddle is wider than the pad at the knee rolls. And the strap for the billets is fairly high on the pad so I can't use it with one of my saddles because the saddle covers the strap.Although I received the square pad rather than the 'saddle' shaped pad I ordered, I decided to keep the pad. The padding is excellent and it fits my saddle perfectly. Also stays in place beautifully.This pad is very durable but I wish the flaps were longer and the top section I wish was a bit more generous. it also washes very wellWhat a lovely saddle pad, although I wish it came in a darker color so I could use it as a schooling pad without seeing the pad so dingy! Nicely stays in place, adds good support at the withers. I love it!Well made but I don't think I've seen a dressage saddle with flaps narrow enough to use with this pad.Poor stitching quality, girth strap came undone on one side, leaving it flapping around during first ride.
