Stumbled upon Bob Nelson quite by accident after doing a search for Chicago style blues. After hearing the first 20 seconds, I knew I'd found something special! After the third track, I paid my money down and have been diggin' the authentic Chicago blues style shuffle that can only be found in the juke joints and bars that smell of stale beer and dark places. The band is tight and can shuffle like nobodies business! Bob's harp work and voice can be found in some dirty gas station down south selling BBQ that's been known to blind small animals. His swamp style can be found in the mix of Chicago style blues and uptempo shuffles that will have your feet to movin' This CD is a no brainer and is an absolute must have for real blues lovers!
