This item isn't cheap... $50 for an ice pack is a pretty penny. But I actually bought it for my diet. I'm doing the Slow Carb Diet from Tim Ferris' book, The 4 Hour Body, and I wanted an ice pack for my back. If you are interested, look up the book, also on Amazon. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of this pack. It is solidly made, and it comes with a heavy duty plastic bag to store it inside in the freezer. It does its job well, and the straps hold it in place nicely. Actually, I'm laying on it when I use it, so its perfect for that, but if I get up, it will come with me. Oh, and the clips are easy to use, in case your back condition also affects your hands.The gel is cold, but still pliable when frozen, and it conforms nicely to my body.If you're wondering if it's worth the price, I will tell you that it is. Thankfully, I'm not suffering from back pain, but if I was, I wohld not hesitate to purchase this again. Its a good product.
