In June of 1998, Steve O'Reilly and Matt Anthony performed their first show together as an acoustic duo at CB's Gallery. Later that year, the band played their first electric show at the Spiral in New York City. Since that time, the band has played at Life, Brownies, Arlene Grocery, CB's Gallery, Luna Lounge, and Mercury Lounge. Tammany Hall NYC also played as part of the Digital Club Festival and the Philadelphia Music Conference. In October of 1999, they completed their debut album "Getawayland".
