I am divided on this one and here is why - I am a huge Di'Anno fan and I really like the first two BZ releases. I currently have CD's from the Zoom Club record label and they do sound pretty terrible (thin, no bottom) so I have been looking for remastered versions. The problem with this release is that these are not the complete first two albums...arguably Welfare Warriors and Feel the Rock are pretty weak and bring down the overall quality of BZ's debut BUT that is just an opinion... In The Darkness is a cool song and should not have been left off, again just my opinion... my point is that if this is a compilation ala Warchild it should be sold that way - actually this is Warchild - just repackaged and presumably remastered... that being said don't sell this as two complete albums remastered. IMO we still have yet to see a complete set of remastered BZ albums with bonus studio tracks.... that being said this is a good compilation and the inclusion of "Rising Star" is a definite plus.... Children of Madness was left in tact which is good BUT their are other tracks out there such as Overloaded - of which a live version can be heard on Killers South American Assault and is, well, killer. All of that being said the exclusion of Welfare Warriors and Feel the Rock from this compilation may actually be a good thing because they really do suck.UPDATE: as Amazon continues it's ineptitude I wanted to clarify that this review is for a single CD edition of Fighting Back/COM from Lemon Records - not for the 4 CD deluxe edition of the 3 complete BZ albums. The reason I went with Lemon was that it clearly stated "remastered" while I am unsure of the 4 CD set....UPDATE #2: I actually bought the 4 disc box set - awful sound quality - same Zoom Club records nonsense as the single disc releases I purchased years ago - and the "bonus" disc of interviews consists of uninteligible conversations recorded on a pocket tape recorder in a crowded room by interviewers who barely speak english.Battlezone was a great Di'Anno project/projects - especially the first two albums. It's a shame you cannot find decently remastered and complete versions of these discs - maybe someone will get it right some day but til then enjoy what you've got.
