I want to praise the video "Back In Shape" DVD. I hurt my back last May and nothing was making it better. Lots of drugs, but the pain wouldn't go away. I was ready to try anything to make the pain stop. I watched a show on National Public Television featuring Dr. Veejay Vad. He is a back pain specialist and had a DVD offered for a gift to the station. I ordered that, but while I was waiting for it to arrive (I really was in a lot of pain) I got the idea to do some looking around. I found this video on Amazon.com. I sure am glad I did.I ordered the DVD and have been using it almost every day since. At first there were some exercises that I couldn't do without pain, so I skipped those. Now I find myself being able to do all of the exercises pain free. Well at least all the exercises that I can do, there are a couple that I am just not flexible enough to do in the suggested way. That is not related to my back injury. I am not a very flexable person.Again, this is a great video. I really like it. It is easy to follow and works for me on an emotional level as well as the physical one. I attrribute my current pain free (or nearly) condition primarily to usind this DVD.UPDATE; 11/5/11, I have been using this video for a few months now. I can't say enough about it. It has not only cleared up my back pain, but also discomfort that I had been experinecing in my hips and neck. My neck, and back are more flexable, and stronger, now than they have been for years.\UPDATE 10/16/12, I am still using this video at least 5 times a week. I haven't had more than a twinge of back pain in so long I can't remember the last time. And when I do have a twinge, its just that, a twinge and goes away. I have also experienced many other benifits from using this video. My neck and shoulders had been getting increasingly stiff. I would notice it at times like looking behind me to backup the car. No more. I am stronger, more limber, and less uncomfortable than I have been for over 20 years.UPDATE; 06/12/20,I am still using these exercises about 5 times a week. I no longer have back pain and have been pain free for years now.This video has enriched my life. It has freed me from constant pain. I can't say enough about it.
