I purchased these sweatpants for my 13 year old. They will fit my 8 year old in the spring. Size Medium is equal to a size 12 in the young boys' size/big boys size. These are not for toddlers. These are not for adults. These are polyester, rayon, and spandex, extremely smooth and soft, and they are a weight of fabric good for weather no colder than middle 40°F up to maybe 70°F, so spring and fall in Maryland. My boys will not wear sport textured clothes, so if it feels like nylon, or polyester, or like baseball pants, they will never wear them. These feel softer than pajamas, smooth on the outside, fleecy on the inside. My eldest son would have loved them. His brother will love them and get to wear them. They have functionally deep pockets at the side seams. Zipper fly is just a stitched on surface detail, there is no flap or zipper. The drawstring is real and is attached at the central seam in the back, so it can never accidentally get pulled into the inside, if it is pulled too hard on one side. Jockey makes good quality clothes. I will have to keep looking for sweatpants that work for my older kiddo. Still, these are keepers.
