I'm so glad this chair was on sale, and I took a chance and bought it. It turns out, this chair is perfect for me. It offers everything I wanted. It has a well padded seat cushion that's contoured so it's comfortable, yet firm enough and supportive for all day seating. It's capable of all the adjustments I need to create just the right seating positions for my body. I need to be able to customize everything because I spend so much time working in the chair. It can tilt forward and back, and I can lock the tilt position slightly forward so it's great when I need to open up my hip ergonomically for my lower back. I can also adjust the tilt tension if I want to be able to rock forward or back. I can independently raise both the seat and back support up and down, forward and back. The arm rests can raise and lower, and the width is also adjustable. The components feel solid, are great quality and heavy duty. The chair has a great weighted feel when you move it and doesn't topple over. All these features in a chair are just an incredible value. It does more than some of the more expensive chairs I've looked it. I loved my last chair so much that it lasted me over 15 years, I never thought I'd be able to find a replacement I'd like, but surprisingly, this one is better that my last chair.Sometimes the chair slowly loses it's adjustments and has to be reset but not to badInitially bought this chair because we use them at my office, and when we transitioned to WFH I wanted something comfortable for the home office. I love this chair so much, I bought a second for my girlfriend. These chairs have seen daily use (WFH) and they're holding up well. The bottom cushion has become a little flatter over time but it feels comfortable still, not like I'm sitting on anything other than the cushion itself. All of the possible adjustments are great for someone who needs a slightly better chair for posture, comfort, etc.FOR ALL THE PEOPLE SAYING THIS CHAIR SHOOTS FORWARD/UNLOCKS RANDOMLY WHEN YOU LOCKED IT 5+ TIMES TODAY - did you read the manual? They mention this chair may need an adjustment when it comes from the factory, and may need adjustments before use. They may also need adjustments as you use the chair over many months or years as they're just pressure disks (think of like car brakes) and not gears that lock into place. This allows for finer adjustment for the perfect position for the user and not limited by pre-determined notches in a gear. I set my chair to the setting I liked and tightened up the nuts on the underside of the chair about 2 full turns. Sat on the chair and see if it popped out of the lock position, if it did I tried a couple more turns and repeat. Then, check that there's no grinding or scraping when the chair is unlocked and eventually it locks fine and doesn't "shoot forward". I'm close to the weight limit of the chair and since I did the above procedure for the chair out of the box it hasn't popped out of the lock position or broken in over a year.I bought this as I work mostly from home and I needed a comfy chair. This is perfect. It was easy to assemble and super comfortable. You can adjust it to really fit you! This chair priced under $200 has more features then more expensive chairs costing hundreds more. See the video in the listing. It is a solid built chair. I added foam padded arm chair cushions and a car seat back cushion. The seat itself is medium firm. It sits 18.5" at it's lowest in front and 19.25" on the sides. The seat is 20.5" wide and 19.25" deep. I wish chair companies would lower the chairs more. I am 5' 11" and 190lbs and several chairs I tried are too high.I use rubber cushion mat cut in two under my desk to raise the height my feet rest on.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K865PEM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Some reviewer here mentioned the way the bolts are blocked from being easily installed. Two of six are but you can manage but you will need a smaller Allen wrench then the one they give you to fit. I hope the seat cushion softens up over time but so far I am not uncomfortable even sitting for hours a day in it. Update: I added a 1/2" thick piece of foam cushion and wrapped fabric around it and the seat feels much better. The chair could still be lower.I began working from home and purchased this chair for my home office. I spend hours at a time sitting in the chair and have found it provides very good back and bottom support. I also like the adjustable arm rests. This chair is just as comfortable as the expensive chairs my company purchased for our offices at a fraction of the price.Instead of just buying THIS chair I went with a cheaper one, but cheap is cheap. I had to buy a back cushion and 2 different seat cushions to make up for my “cheap” decision. After suffering for enough months I splurged and bought this chair. It was relatively easy to put together. It’s very heavy so it feels quite stable. It took me awhile to get it adjusted but now it’s perfect. My mood is better, I’m more focused, and it’s because I’m not distracted by how uncomfortable I am anymore. The seat is super cushy. I especially like that the seat depth can adjust AND it tilts. I might even say that it’s easy to start my work day because it’s one less thing to stress about. It’s early days, but so far I love this chair!I had 2 lower back surgeries in the past, and I am extremely cautious when it come to choosing a char to sit for 6+ hours a day. I am very pleased with this chair. It has every controls and adjustments that I could think of to meet my comfort and lower back support needs. Even the seat cushion itself is richly padded, but firm. I recommend this chair to those with similiar needs. The only drawbacks of this chair are - the chair tends to be a bit high for my height (5'7") even at the lowerest setting, and the chiar is quite heavier than what I am used to. These are just small issues that I am willing to live with when I am gainning all those great controls that this chair offers. The chair was easy to assemble. I'm not mechanically inclined, so if I could assemble it, anyone should be able to. It took me about 45 minutes. I didn't follow the instructions as it seemed to me assembling the seat bottom with controls was the logical place to start. Per the instructions its one of the last steps which makes me wonder how the chair would be positioned with the arms already installed. The only challenge was with the bolt under lever 3 was difficult to access. It will make sense if you assemble the chair, slide the seat forward using lever 3, and then tighten that bolt.I chose the mesh back chair over the comparable chair with padded back because I read the mesh naturally supports your back (it does) and I thought it would be cooler, especially in the summer months. The seat bottom is comfortable. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to adjust the seat tilt. Reading the instructions was the key to that problem :-)Now for the "buts". I am 5'8" and I find the seat bottom really big (side to side and front to back). It's not a deal breaker for me. The arms adjust up and down but not side to side. Their position works well for me, but my husband is 6'1" with an athletic build and he just barely squeezed in between the two arms. The seat back is adjustable up and down, but doesn't seem to lock in the "up" position. Again, not an issue for me because I prefer it down, but my husband would like it higher so would prefer it to lock.Overall I'm happy with the chair so far. I did a fair bit of research and the ergonomic office furniture stores in my area all carry this chair and highly recommend it. Their cost, however, was about $50 pre-tax more than Amazon plus Amazon delivered it to my door.Amazon's pricing must be somewhat subjective as the price for this has changed ever few days, dropping down a little each time then a big jump back up. It is a great chair though! Lots of padding on the seat, adjustable in many ways and has some lumbar support but not a lot. For an office chair that could be sat in for 7-8 hours a day it is decent and if you can get it for less than $200 CAD then it is a good deal in my eyes! Some folks who are smaller might want it to come up higher, and some folks who are near or above the 250lb weight limit might want to consider getting a high lift / heavy duty piston too. Available at Amazon and much easier to install during initial assembly. If you are more than 200lbs, you should go in a different direction. It has many adjustment possibilities, which is great, but it can feel wobbly at times, like it could break. My wife thinks it's very comfortable, but she is 130 lbs.Happy for the price, but for the next chair I will buy, I would go with a Herman Miller.I ended up giving this chair to my husband for his office and keeping my old one. The seat was too big and had an odd down tilt. I'm 5'10 and slim and found it was too much chair for me. I never felt comfortable in it. Seat vs back support was off for my physique.
