Back to the Light, Brian May's first solo album from back in the early 1990's is incredible!! We all know the sound of the Red Special that Brian and his Dad crafted back when he was 17, and is still ROCKING today some 55+ years later. That Red Special, in the hands of a genius guitarist, is one of the sounds that made the Rock Group Queen Great! Brian's Back to the Light album is packed solid with the sound of that guitar and Brian May's own incredible voice! And the second CD containing live performances shows the electricity of The Brian May Band's performance!This second CD also has some surprise performances, including a surprise Extended Version of "We Will Rock You," A song written by May, and first recorded by Queen, and coupled with "We are the Champions" generally served as the Queen Concert Finale. This much longer version of We will Rock You will just blow your socks off! It is worth the additional price for the 2cd set all by itself, but there are tremendous live versions of many of the tunes on the original album, AND a couple of more surprises! If You Like Rock, this is a 2-CD set that MUST be in your collection!!
